    somebody giving unbiased advice about money independent financial adviser: a person who gives impartial advice to clients on financial matters and who is not employed by any financial institution, although commission for the sale of products may be received.

    UK organization for accountants Institute of Financial Accountants: a UKprofessional organization, established in 1916, which works to set technical and ethical standards in financial accounting.
