Ireland-wide accounting organization Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland: the oldest and largest professional body for accountants in Ireland, the ICAI was founded in 1888. Its many objectives include promoting best practice in chartered accountancy and maintaining high standards of professionalism among its members. It publishes a journal, Accountancy Ireland, and has offices in Dublin and Belfast.
