Zahirul Hoque
Zahirul Hoque is associate dean (research) and professor of accounting in the Faculty of Law and Management of La Trobe University in Australia, where he is also deputy director of the Public Sector Governance and Accountability Research Centre. Prior to that he held a number of faculty posts at universities in Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia. His research interests include accounting and organizational change, management accounting, performance management, public sector accounting, and a general interest in the interdisciplinary research in organizational designs. Professor Hoque has published widely, including two books, Handbook of Cost and Management Accounting and Strategic Management Accounting. He is founding editor of the Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change.
