Peter Killing is professor of strategy at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland. His major interest is the interface between strategy and leadership. His teaching, research, and consulting activities focus on leaders who are working with their teams to create the right strategy and at the same time set the ground for effective implementation. In the area of mergers, acquisitions, and alliances, Professor Killing has written and edited four books and several articles, including one in the Harvard Business Review. He also runs in-company programs for a variety of clients including BMW, Allianz, Sika, and Vestas, the Danish wind turbine company.
