Duncan Hughes
Duncan Hughes has 25 years’ experience in the City of London in specialties ranging from fund management to investment banking. During his career he has held senior roles at NM Rothschild & Sons and Threadneedle Asset Management, and recently he has focused on private equity and corporate financing and structuring with specialist boutiques. He is a guest lecturer in finance at London Metropolitan University and the London Financial Academy, and he is author of the book Asset Management in Theory and Practice. He is also a managing director of Global Analytics, an international financial training and consultancy firm. Hughes won the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute’s prize for statistics and financial mathematics in 1994 and he now sits on the Institute’s UK examination panel.
